Our story
From one idea, we began bringing understanding and support closer.
Starlight Path was founded in Shenzhen in 2018 by Sherry Xu and her family. We began with autism advocacy, hoping to help more families access reliable information, support, and community resources—and to build a more genuine, practical understanding of autism.
The idea also grew from founder Sherry Xu’s own experience. Diagnosed with autism in early childhood, she received early intervention. Later, through autism-related community work, she realized that the support she had received was not available to every child.
Starlight Path began there and has continued to grow. Our work now includes community workshops, mental-health education, storytelling, and youth volunteering, with an ongoing focus on autism, neurodiversity, and mental health.
We hope that one day, more people can receive understanding—and the right support—when they need it.
